Have had cough and fever, for almost 3 weeks, that increases through the day from normal to 101. Flu swab- Neg. Chest X-ray looks good. No bloodwork.
Ive had a fever and a productive cough now for 5 days. Negative for flu and chest X-ray normal. Pinkish and green phlegm. Finished zpack with no change in symptoms. What could this be and what tests should I ask for next?

Pain in rt side just under ribs, very tender to touch. Developed after flu/bronchitis & 2 wks of intense coughing. Xray, cbc/cmp unremarkable. Cough, chest pain/tightness improving; pain in side is the same. Hurts to stretch, bend, & esp cough!
