Bronchospasm: Chronic dry cough following illness is often due to bronchiolitis or post viral inflammatory bronchospasm. A pulmonary function test and chest imaging may be ordered by your PCP. Please have a flu vaccination during the next flu season unless otherwise contraindicated. A trial of albuterol and/or steroid may be prescribed by your PCP. An inbox consult may be used to review findings as well.
