A member asked:

Can benign axillary lymph nodes turn into malignant due to some hormone effect? or any other reason (with the presence of fibroadenosis of breasts)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Benign lymph nodes: don't change to malignant. However persistent nodes should be rechecked by your doctor. Benign breast problems don't change to malignant, but may cause one to become complacent and overlook new changes that might not be benign.
