Staphylococcal ?: Staph bacteria can be contaminants, and usually when pathologic will cause abscesses, not just "discharge". Your physician may prescribe antibiotics, but the discharge may be arising from other causes. Get a repeat culture for "anaerobic bacteria" and yeast (fungal) organisms and a "wet smear" to rule out trichomonas, to cover more causes.

Some basics: The staphylococcus family of germs are one of the most common skin contaminants. It is estimated that humans begin carrying this germ on a variety of surfaces within hours of birth & then continuing through life. It is acquired from environmental surfaces on fingers/by contact. It transfers easily. There are some strains that invade & produce abscesses. Most do not. Presence on genital is normal
