On scalp, i had a benign, "fatty" tumor that was removed years ago. in the same spot, it feels like another lump is forming. no pain. is it benign?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. I will probably require removal and sending the tissue to a pathologist for examination to ascertain if it the recurrence of a benign tumor or a malignant one.
