Maybe: Epson salt soaks help with drawing swelling and fluids out of tissue. Their are some sources that state is may also help with infection, however I would not recommend this as a sole treatment of infection but more to aid with healing and edema ( swelling). If your infection gets worse or the redness starts to spread then immediately go to the emergency room.
