Checked blood sugar on finger. if finger had germs on it, could needle prick force germs into blood stream? can i get meningitis or disease this way?

Unlikely if ever: Such an exposure happens millions of times daily to diabetics who do not go on to get meningitis or any other terrible problem. Local immune & disease fighting factors kill random germs daily in those with a normal immune system. Proper antiseptic use can reduce chance for a local sore/abscess, but I would not obsess about this.
