Some basics: The concentration of electrolytes like potassium shifts over a period of hours/days not 10 minutes. The serum factor capable of such a change would likely be the blood glucose level. The response to shakiness from low blood sugar by stress hormones like Adrenalin & cortisol/glucagon could easily bring the level up to normal in that time frame.
