Vasodilation: A red facial eruption with a burning sensation,especially if it's transient, suggests a vasodilation of capillaries such occurs with hormonal reactions, warm temperature response, exposure to Sun and wind,anxiety or embarrassed states, ingestion of spices,alcohol,etc. Another possibility,if the eruption is not transient, is acne rosacea which is aggravated by many of the same factors.See dermatol
