My 6 yr old has had strep 4 times this winter.we would finish the full 10 days of antibiotics each time. is this normal? should i see a ent?

Documented ? : One of the !st questions is did they document the strep by test or just treat? Tonsil removal is often considered after 5-6 documented strep/yr but has fallen out of favor. It does not stop strep throat infections but can reduce the intensity of illness/episode. I would also wonder if there is a symptom free strep carrier in the family. Discuss this with her doc.
