Is chronic bacterial vaginosis curable? and is it still contagious if treated?

Vaginosis ?: Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is contagious, but curable. The problem with treating this infection is multiple partners and minor symptoms in males. If treated successfully, and in monogamous relationships, it can be managed with antibiotics.
