For many months now, I've had a non-stop tenderness with mild-to-moderate pain across my left ankle. There was no known injury or cause. It has worsened and is slightly swollen. It hurts to the touch, even during sleep, and also any time I flex it. My parents think it might be tendon-related. I'm wondering what sort of healthcare provider should I seek out to have this looked at? I feel a bit paranoid b/c i worry about blood clots (I have Factor V Leiden-heterogeneous) tenderness in ankle?
