Some basics: TB is actually hard to pass between persons with minimal contact. However, there are simple ways to test baby to see if it has early signs of the disease. The cough is likely unrelated & something that will just need to self heal over time. Cough is a natural protective response in the lung that helps bring up debris from deep sites. When healed, it fades.
