I have been getting irregular periods for the last 4 months lasting 7/8 days around 35-40 days apart since my father passed. my period ended friday 1st march and on saturday 9th march it started again. should i go see my doctor or is this normal?

Gynecologist: For you who had regular and normal menstrual cycles and periods this is abnormal and indicates a loss of balance of your hormones. Emotional factors or dietary or weight changes may have played a role. This should be treatable by your gynecologist.
