Unlikely: Lignocaine(lidocaine) is an anesthetic that should reduce the burning sensation, not cause it. The suprapubic catheter tract (SPC) can be irritated for many reasons, such as physical trauma or infection or allergic inflammation. Allergic reactions to lidocaine could cause swelling and redness, but these are extremely rare. Lidocaine does not increase hemoglobin levels.
