If u had a tia or stroke would a ct scan show it even if it happen a while before the scan?

No: Usually a TIA would not show up on a CT scan.Depending on the scanner and how big a stroke is and what kind of stoke,a CT will show a stroke if it happened .A MRI with/without contrast would be more sensitive.

Hi,I had several TIAs (Mini Stroke) 2 years ago. Since this episode, for the past 2 years I've had on and off numbness within the rear right head.
History of ischemic stroke. Went off crestor (rosuvastatin) for 3 mo, then more frequent symptoms of tias, related to hypercholesterol (high good and bad levels)?
Some say TIAs & mini strokes are the same & leave no foot print. Others say theres a difference. Is there? I had a TIA w/ a footprint- memory, confusion, word recall. Also can they be seen on imaging long after. Seeing neuro Ill ask him but curio?
I heard oranges are good for people at risk for strokes. Are they good for tias too?
