Needs further w/u: Functional gallbladder disorder is characterized by biliary pain in the absence of gallstones, sludge, microlithiasis. HIDA Scan may be WNL. The diagnosis requires an evaluation to exclude other organic causes of pain.Functional gallbladder disorder results from a gallbladder dysmotility. Symptom-based criteria (Rome IV) have been proposed to standardize the diagnosis of functional gallbladder.

Bile is often a suspected of contributing to GERD when people respond incompletely or not at all to powerful acid-suppressant medications. But there is little evidence pinpointing the effects of bile reflux in people. In this case since the D/Dx is between FGD and Bile reflux Gastritis, further test are needed for definitive Dx, obviously a detailed history and knowing gender will help.
