A member asked:

I have possible multiple fibroadenomas in my left breast and going for a sonar guided biopsy however they are only going to test 1 of 4. how will they know for certain that the remaining "fibroadenomas" are benign and if they are indeed fibroadenoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Breast masses: "Testing only one" of your diagnosed "fibroadenomas" will not, of course, guarantee what the constituency of the other three is, so discuss this with your GYN provider, as it will not prove the others are benign.
