A member asked:

Is it possible to be dehydrated and still have normal lab results including creatinine levels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: The simple chemistry profile gives ample evidence of adequate fluid balance. It does not measure thirst, but is a reasonable gauge of over/under hydration. If paired with a concurrent urinalysis the picture is clear enough to exclude dehydration.
