What could cause mchc of 34yo f to vary between 31-33, usually marked as low over many years? rbc, rdw, hmg are normal. sometime hematocrit is high.

Dont worry: With the other indices normal I would not worry.The mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) is the average concentration of hemoglobin in your red blood cells.usually normal is 33 but different labes have different averages.There can be lab variation each time that it is drawn-probally not changing in your body just a variation of measurement.low is iron defieciency but dont replace now
