Chest pain and i have to take a lot of energy to breath and it take a few breaths to get one hole breath threw i dont have any problems with this ?

Short of breath: Are you on birth control pills? a smoker? recent travel? swollen leg? if so if could be clot that went to lung and is serious , or may just be an upper respiratory infection with atypicals like mycoplasma for which you need antibiotics or may be asthma/allergies which needs treatment. Due to concern for clot would go to ER today .
