Are vitamins herbs minerals supplements etc a waste of money. Do they promise things that don’t happen? I like taking them bc I feel proactive. Scam?

Do not need: You do not need any supplements unless you have a documented vitamin defiency.Most area waste of money.just eat a well balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegtables.
