Many things: Claritin,benadry,zyrtec, alleggra and singular will all work for allergic rhinnitis but will do minimal for URI.The most effective for allergies is a nasal steroid such as flonase and will also work for colds but takes longer to work.Decongestants help for both but also increase blood pressure.Nedipot-nasal rinses help for temporary relief of blocked noses.
