Antibiotics ?: Some antibiotics can interfere with the absorption of hormones in oral bcp's, which can cause minor bleeding. Ovulation and pregnancy will not occur if you have continued to take the active pills. More often, this kind of bleeding is a result of not taking the oral bcp's punctually. Take the active pill within the hour of taking the previous day's pill to minimize this kind of bleeding.
