YES: Cat bites infect rapidly and usually require dual or triple antibiotic therapies. If you were given 2 diffent oral antibiotics, stay on these for at least 10 days.

Pasturella infection: cat bites most commonly associated with pasturella infection. Soft tissue infection usually responds well to antibiotics but if a joint was violated and you have joint space infection, or abscess need IV antibiotics
