Scar revision: You may want to first consult with a cosmetic surgeon about your options. A scar revision surgery is always an option but sometimes it is good to wait until the kid is older to see what it will look like as the kid matures. Head size is 95% of adult by 9-10 as are the related structures. If they feel it would be a simple fix, now may be okay, but a complex scar may need to wait.
