Irrigate (Wash): the wound thoroughly and this kind of wound is termed "tetanogenic" ..in other words get a Tetanus Booster. BTW if the wound continues to bleed seek urgent care..you could have damaged a blood vessel... Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
