Get evaluated now: Once germs penetrate deep into your hand you can develop a deep infection involving the complex tendons and muscles of your hand. If you go in immediately they may be able to stop the infection with simple treatments. If it is too far along you may need IV antibiotics for weeks/surgery or could loose function in your hand. Get going or suffer the consequences.
