? acute urticaria: Can be related to something you ate, or a medicine you took, or often times no reason van be found and possibly related to a virus, would go away on its own, you can take OTC antihistamines, read the labels carefully and don't exceed recommended dosage, if still suffering or have swollen lips, lids, difficulty breathing, hoarseness or dizziness, see your doctor or go to urgent care or ER,good luck
