The report says i have a 1 cm left follicular, ovarian cyst. is it likely it will grow? should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ovarian Cyst: Follicular cysts are a common finding in women in the child bearing years. Small ones like 1 cm are typical and most often it is an incidental finding on an ultrasound. Although they can at times enlarge and rupture, it is not common and even if this occurs it is most often not serious. It the great majority of cases there is absolutely nothing to worry about.
