Costochondritis for 3 months causing breathing difficulties, is it advisable to keep taking nsaids for this long? been to gp numerous times

Is it getting better: Make sure taking the NSAIDs with food on stomach so don’t get an ulcer and maybe some Zantac to help protect stomach,Is it getting better,taking NSAIDs at least twice a day should be getting better and how bad is it.if not would consider different diagnosis,steroids or physical therapy at this point.
