is it okay to take aleve 12 hours after last dosage of dayquil?

Yes, however: Yes, there are no significant interactions between Dayquil and Aleve. I do not know why you are taking these though with you taking Dayquil am guessing you have a cold/cough. Know that these medicines only treat symptoms and do not address the cause. Vitamin C, zinc and herbs like Umcka and Andrographis help fight viral infections and homeopathy can treat symptoms as well as speed recovery.

A 31-year-old female asked:

Can you take dayquil when you are pregnant?

Talk with OB but no: Dayquil contains acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, pseudoephedrine. Acetaminophen (tylenol) is ok but the other two are class c which most OB do not allow. Use nasal saline. Class c: studies on animals show adverse effect and toxicity on fetus. No adequate and well controlled studies done on pregnant women. Drugs should be given only if potential benefit outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.
OK
A female asked:

My baby has 2 mounth old and i take dayquil today and yesterday is it safe for him?

NO: All the over the counter cold and flu medication is not safe for infants. We no longer have any medications for infants because they have caused drowiness and seizures in some. The safe thing to do is just saline nasal drops into the infants nose to control the nasal congestions and suctioning their nose.
