I took an aleve (naproxen) this morning for a fever but i'm coughing and sneezing so much i'd like to take a dayquil. but is it safe after taking an aleve (naproxen)?

Yes but: Dayquil cough contains dextromethorphan, but some of the other preparations may contan acetaminophen, doxylamine or phenylephrine. None of these should interfere with aleve (naproxen) but the acetaminophen is also used to treat fever. So look at the label.
