RA in ankle: How far advanced is the damage and is there associated damage to the foot? Collaboration between a rheumatologist and orthopedic surgeon experienced in ankle surgery is the best way to learn if treatment options including medications,injections,physical therapy and surgery. You should pursue this type of advice and seek opinions from other specialists.
