A member asked:

Tsh slightly elevated with .025mcg prescribed but symptoms persist after 4 weeks. fatigue, lightheadedness, nausea. is this adrenal not thyroid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hypothyroidism: The elevated TSH shows that your thyroid status is underactive. Before embarking on a workup to look for other causes of chronic fatigue, your thyroid medication should be adjusted to bring your thyroid status into the normal range. Adrenal gland insufficiency is a cause of chronic fatigue. An endocrinologist is best qualified to advise and treat you.
