A doctor has provided 1 answer

Listeria ?: Transmission of listeria via breast feeding is still debated. What is known, if you are diagnosed with listeria is contact with your infant directly can infect your infant, so be especially careful with hand washing, or while infected, pump your breasts and use sterile formula until your infection has ceased.
