Ive been diagnosed with left osteochondritis dissecans ankle 6 weeks. when surgery is a must in my condition? is there any effective treatment option

OCD: If there is complete detachment of fragments, nonoperative treatment may be tried for as long as 6 months/(wearing a brace with no weight bearing) but may not be as successful in adults as it can be in children. It's best to adhere to the advice of an orthopedic surgeon who has experience with OCD of the ankle.
