Pain and popping: Osteochondritis dessicans is basically arthritic changes in the ankle with bone spurs that may be intact or broken off. Symptoms will usually be occassional pain with limitation of motion and intermittent pain to the area. See your podiatrist if the pain becomes worse and especially if the motion starts to diminish.
