Yes: most likely it is a virus or allergy the cough and sore throat could be from posterior drip from sinus allergy sleep with the head elevated and take claritin or zyrtec with or without decongestant during the day as long as no allergy or BP problem and take benadryl (diphenhydramine) at night hydrate well take vitamin C and Zinc .take full table spoon if local honey, drink hot tea with lemon and local honey.
