I accidentally used saline drops in my toddlers nose that was used last season. can it cause serious infection if it was opened and used long back?

Maybe/not: To survive from "long back" germs would need some nutrient matter to live on. Saline provides moisture but not nutrients. I doubt if it has much risk, but it would be reasonable to toss it & get a new one. If you never touch the nose in use there is little chance for germ transfer.
