Fever: Fetid breath can often be associated with a strep throat. Make sure you take him for a throat culture and possible treatment.

Teething?: Could be one or the other or both. A small fever is normal in teething as well as a runny nose however stuffy nose and bad breath could be a cold. Moms are always right so see your pediatrician for a checkup.
