Depends: Surgical healing is dependent on closure method used, depth of incision, overall health and nutrition and other medical problems a person may have. In general and abdominal incision should be healed fairly well in 6-8 weeks barring any infection or closure failure. Overall healing may continue for months or longer but in general after 6-8 weeks you should be able to gradually resume normal actions
