Good day all. my menstrual cycle ended three days ago, this morning i woke up to blood on the toilet paper and now i am experiencing abdominal pain.

Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation.

Bleeding post period: If the bleeding continues, and pregnancy is possible, wait a week and get a serum HCG test to be certain about pregnancy. If positive, see your OB provider immediately, to make sure a pregnancy is not outside the uterus (ectopic).
