I had pneumonia last year in august. a lot of my friends who have had it too, say it comes back around 6 months later. could this be true?

Pneumonia: Typically pneumonia does not recur at any set time. It is more common in people who smoke, have immune deficiency or have pulmonary issues.

Not accurate.: That is not the norm. At age 17 if you had pneumonia a year ago - you have already demonstrated that it did not return within 6 months of infection.
