Stye: These are the classic symptoms of a stye in evolution. The best treatment is the application of very warm, not hot, wet washcloths laid over the closed lids for 4-5 minutes at a time and about 5 times per day. Twice per day will not do it. This usually takes about 3-4 days to get rid of the stye.
