Take no chances!: If the dog has not been vaccinated for rabies recently (in the last year) or you don't know if he/she has been vaccinated, TAKE NO CHANCES!!!! Rabies is 100% fatal. Get the rabies shots. Get a tetanus booster as well, if you are not current on that.
