Many possibilities: Many things can cause "normal" pain during pregnancy: "round ligament pain", which is thought to be a stretching or pulling one of the uterine ligaments as the pregnancy grows. There can be muscular pain as the muscles are stretched. "Acid reflux" is common due to pressure on the stomach from the growing uterus. Closer to term, light contractions can cause pain. All of these are "normal" pains.
