Your doctor may want to re-order a pregnancy test in the office to ensure you are definitely not pregnant. Next, if this is a first time occurence of missing your menses- stress, weight change, diet change can sometimes cause a missed menstrual cycle. If this persists or becomes a recurrent issue then your Dr. would check for other causes ie hormonal reasons etc.
