Natural remedies: Unfortunately getting the flu shot doesn't guarantee you won't get the flu; it often does not work. I do not recommend the standard drug, Tamiflu, as it may only help if started within 24 hours, at most reduces symptoms by 24 hours, is pricey and has flu symptoms as a side effect. However, a variety of herbs and supplements can help, as can homeopathy. See https://tinyurl.com/zeccbso for details.

Can take Tamiflu: Taking Tamiflu at the start of viral influenza can be helpful. Influenza infection can still happen even if vaccinated, but because it still works in many cases and many years, it is recommended.

Tamiflu: If you got the flu and it was confirmed, then tamiflu (oseltamivir) can help especially if started within 48 hours of the onset of the flu symptoms, regardless of vaccination status.
