A friend, son fell and hurt the inner lip and chin , he wasn't taken to doctor , or stitched , it's a week later, think he needs stitches can he get?

Not indicated: Any simple cut inside the mouth will self heal over time unless it is very large. Cuts outside the mouth on the lips or chin must be stitched within a day, preferably within hours for it to matter. A week after the injury the body is in the process of healing & stitches are not indicated. A visit to a local doc may help understand how it is healing or whether another procedure can help.
