My 6 yr old son hit his head on the table corner. he seems fine just a 1cm cut on the side of his head. does he need stitches? wound is oozing a little bloo.

Maybe/not: If the wound gapes it may need a stitch or 2 but most of that size that don't do not. They generally need to be cleaned & monitored for swelling or drainage that could indicate infection. Most will seal over in a few days & heal without incident.
